Since our founding, Great Lakes Industrial Supply, Inc. has grown from a modest seller of industrial products, parts and services to customers in the Great Lakes region states of Indiana and Illinois, to a recognized and trusted supplier of equipment to customers worldwide. Effective governance is an integral part of our success. Our Board of Directors is the governing body of our company and meets regularly to discuss key issues, including planning objectives and strategy, taking into account all stakeholders’ interests.
Our Board of Directors has the fiduciary responsibility to ensure that the ever-changing needs of our company and its associates are met. With this in mind, Great Lakes Industrial Supply, Inc. has made it a practice to allow our associates, regardless of position, to be considered for election to our Board of Directors. In doing this, we ensure that all decisions made by the Board, are made with the company’s best interest in mind.
Our Board of Directors delegates management and strategy implementation to our executive officers.
Through longstanding partnerships in Indiana and Illinois, Great Lakes Industrial Supply, Inc. is aligned with a number of philanthropic causes impacting our community. We strongly encourage our associates to volunteer their time and effort to participate in charitable associations and events as a way to help give back to the community.
